Market Manager - Full Time (Vancouver, WA)

We are looking for a dynamic Market Manager to join our team who is as passionate about Vancouver as we are and has a desire to contribute to the success and growth of our local community of farmers, food producers, and artists. Market Managers are the face of the VFM both to our customers and the many small businesses we support. This is a highly visible position and a great opportunity for those who are passionate about farmers markets and inclusive public spaces. Market Managers are responsible for building positive relationships with vendors and community partners, curating and preparing for the market each week, and ensuring that each market day runs smoothly.

  • Status: Full-Time,  Non-Exempt, 40 hours per week
  • Compensation: $47,000/year
  • Benefits:
    • Employer paid Medical/Dental/Vision coverage
    • Annual PTO: up to 52 hours of accrued sick time, 10 vacation days, 4 holidays, 6 floating holidays, and annual year-end office closure
    • Annual $150 clothing reimbursement
    • Monthly parking and cell phone reimbursements
  • Schedule: Varies with season, typically:
    • April - October (Wed-Sun)
    • November - March (Tues-Sat)
  • Reports To: Director of Operations

Program Assistant - Food Access

The focus of this position is coordinating the logistics of our Food Access Program, Vancouver Market Box. This includes picking up produce orders from farmers on the market day, tracking inventory, sorting, and organizing produce, and packing and boxes for home delivery to food insecure families.

  • Status: Part-time, Seasonal, 8 hours per week 
  • Compensation: $18 per hour
  • Schedule: June – October, Saturdays 8-4

Program Assistant - Youth Education

The focus of this position is coordinating the day-of logistics of our summertime Kids Education program, Produce Pals. This includes set up and tear down of equipment, organization of activity supplies, coordinating sign in, administering the activities, handing out program incentives, and tracking data.

  • Status: Part-time, Seasonal, 8 hours per week 
  • Compensation: $18 per hour
  • Schedule: June – August, Thurs 9:30-2:30, Sat 8:30-3:30, Sun 9:30-3:30
